Who would have thought  that writing into cyberspace would be so therapeutic!

To all that reads this, I now look at you all as my blog family.

I have days where I think no, I can’t be bothered going through posts! But then I tell myself  to get bothered, and stay connected. That’s what blogging has taught me about Bipolar and Depression. The key to staying healthy in your mind is to stay connected!!! It’s so easy to slip back into old, negative habits.

So when I can’t be bothered and still manage to encourage myself to get back on the computer, and keep up to date, I never regret it. Why? Because of you. Yes you!  In there, that’s right! I’m talking to YOU – the person reading this! *laughing*

Each and every one of you have helped in my recovery in one way or another! I thank you for making me laugh and remembering how beautiful life can be!

My real life is so much happier as a result of all the support you have shown me throughout the year!

As much as I’m grateful for the recognition by way of awards, I won’t be accepting anymore. Please don’t be offended! I mean no disrespect. I find them time consuming and feel guilty passing them on. Just to have you like and comment from time to time is gratitude enough for me! Real life and cyber life can get quite busy, so this is an easier way to keep the two balanced! *smiling*

Like I said, I feel we are all connected in one big cyber family. Just knowing that there are lifelines out there (yes, I mean you, my lovely readers!) is what I most appreciate.

Love and prosperity to each and every one of you!!

Thank you for all your beautiful posts and comments!

Love Paula xxxx

Award Frenzy

Hello There

First of all, a big THANK YOU to those that have nominated me for an Award of late. I am very honoured by all this attention!

Now, to cope with the crazy amount of Awards I have received of late, I am going to cover them all in this here post. I know it’s breaking a few rules, but in the name of sanity, and a good dose of love, I think this is the best way to share the goodwill.

For those that I have nominated, please do feel free to play by the rules and answer the questions that relate to the Award (just click back to the lovely souls who nominated me).

Now, instead of answering dozens of questions individually, I am just going to offer you a you a few things you might not know about me.

1. I find it difficult to just spontaneously “go out” when asked.
2. If you managed to get me out, I would not want to go home – too busy having a good time.
3. I love bright colours but rarely wear them without conscious effort.
4. I wore a ton of makeup when I was younger but don’t like to now – I think it has something to do with revealing the “real me”.
5. I see a person in every animal and my brother says I would anthropomorphise a cockroach.
6. Arachnophobia would only begin to describe the level of my dislike of spiders.

The very talented Maxima has nominated me for the Sensual Blogging Award.
I nominate  Beginning of Hope.

Lifessweetbittersurprises has nominated me for the Very Inspiring Blogger Award.
I nominate Ashley Bollinger.

Lifessweetbittersurprises and Mridula and  have nominated me for the Beautiful Blogger Award.
I nominate Louise of Midlife Mayhem.

Terry nominated me for the Liebster Award.
I nominate Swift Expression.

Blog of the Year

IvonneRamblings from a MumMaxima and Irish Katie have nominated me for the 2012 Blog of the Year Award.
I nominate Gretchin Rubin. The Happiness Project sounds like it could be worth a go.

I pass these Awards on with gratitude and respect. Please do feel free to click back and retrieve the relevant questions to answer from those that gifted the Award on to me.

Blog of the Year 2012 Award

I’d like to extend a very big ‘Thank You!!’ to the lovely Mumsy for giving me this award.
Please do her the honor and peak at her blog site, great writings and ramblings! 😉
I thank you, Mumsy!
Thank you for your ongoing support and friendship.

Visit her at – http://ramblingsfromamum.wordpress.com/author/ramblingsfromamum/

As always, it is a difficult thing to nominate someone when you enjoy reading so many different blogs.

However my nominations are:

Katie – You’ve just always been so supportive of me and my quest, such a fabulous writer and a friendly person; you have a fantastic sense of humour!

Ivonne, you’re a very unique individual; it makes me happy to see people pursue their dreams and your appreciation for animals is enough common ground. 😉 Plus… I FREAKING LOVE CLOWNS!!!

Rachel, I am grateful for having other tips and experiences for coping with bipolar. You have helped me a great amount in my healing.

David, You are a great therapist! It is admirable to see someone so dedicated to their work and always willing to lend a helping hand and a little bit of advice when you’re feeling down. Thank you.

Ahamin, you’re a fantastic author. You have been incredibly supportive of me, I hope that you will gain further exposure to your novel: “Psychs” People should definitely check out what you have to say. 🙂

Agata, you’re an incredibly cheerful person. It brings me great joy to read and follow your blog from day to day. Your inspirational quotes are a key element in my getting through the day.

Wendy, you’ve always been happy, cheery and open to others. I love your poetry and photography! Nature is a beautiful thing, it’s always good to see a more humane way of capturing its beauty. 😉

As I previously stated, there are soo many who I would care to mention. I apologise if I have left you out, please do not feel offended as I have just attempted to not consume your time as each blog is a journey of its own.
There are many stories out there waiting to be told, or that have been told. I feel that these ones in particular are important for everyone to be exposed to.

To all the people that I follow and vice versa, I thoroughly enjoy the times we spend in this cyber realm. You are each a great inspiration and help to me, to mention all of you would take me all day.
I hope that this footnote will suffice. 🙂

Thanks for everything,
Paula. xx
