About

After suffering from the ravages of depression, Bipolar, anxiety and an internal loneliness for many years, i have decided to share my journey with you, and just maybe, in doing so i will find out a little bit more about me.  I will be sharing my thoughts on depression and my personal experiences. I will also try to throw in a bit of light and cheer every now and then – balance is the spice of life, right?

Thanks for dropping by. We’re not out to save the world here – just to share views, thoughts, ideas and worries in a hassle-free and judgement-free environment. Welcome. Grab a cup of your favourite brew, take a deep breath and prepare to share my world. If it helps you then it’s been worthwhile. It will help me regardless, so thanks for sharing the journey.

Feelings are on display – along with bad spelling, terrible grammar and awful formatting. If you are looking for all of those, please Google “English like what the Queen says”.

  1. Hi there 🙂
I just came across your blog for the 1st time tonight. I like what you said in your bio here. I can totally relate. I struggle with social anxiety and have for a while. It’s one of the main reasons why I started my blog. I needed a therapeutic release. Anywho, I look forward to checking out your posts. Take care!

    • Hi Toddley, so sorry for the late response. 🙂

I work from home and have been busy lately. My sons girlfriend also has Social Anxiety and it’s at times really difficult for her. So I understand how you must feel at times. Blogging is a fantastic way of just throwing things out into the universe and connecting with like minded people. Thanks for stopping by my blog and I hope all is well with you. Hugs Paula xx

  2. Thank you for sharing. I recently started a humorous blog about my anxiety. It definitely helps to be open about it!

  3. I just found your blog for the first time – I’m glad other people are willing to share their struggle with mental illness. I just entered this world for the first time… I’m diagnosed bipolar and really not okay with it yet. Thanks for sharing your journey.

  4. I don’t know how you do. I guess everyone around me has told me as guy I’m not to share my feelings, that depression makes me look “unattractive”. That being negative is choice, and constantly judge by it, so much don’t try to post on my blog too much, sort internally afraid of it.

  5. Hi Paula. I’ve popped by to say hello and ask how things are going. I’m glad you were able to get free from the terrible client you mentioned in your most recent post. Kindhearted people like you don’t deserve abuse.
    Blessings ~ Wendy
